Teaching is the well-loved profession. For teaching begets love through its very essence. The teacher, being given that great opportunity to hone the learners’ mind should consider the right and best attitude in the profession which is teaching with a big heart.
Teachers are the ones to give the total care and love if the students are in the school. Being the most trusted agent of change in the educational institution, the teacher should welcome this group of learners with a big smile of accommodation.
Likewise, teachers should generally treat the students with fairness and respect for these young people need better understanding of their nature and individual characteristics. The teachers are the second parents of these students so caring for them should be done.
Moreover, in educating them, it is not merely imparting them with the essential skills and competencies they need but also teaching them the very essence of these things. There is nothing more satisfying on the part of the students than the assurance that they have the caring teachers who are always there for them in times of difficulties.
In much broader extent, the teachers are not only acting as teachers but also serving as benevolent advisers and sympathetic counselors who are always there to influence them in good ways.
Teachers are also the role models of the young generation and once they exhibit the best qualities in them, these will be imitated by the learners. Unconsciously, the teachers are caring for the learners for they display good examples to follow.
Teaching the right values in life is also teaching with a heart for in this way you are directing the students to the proper path of life. You give them exemplary behaviors and attitudes which will transform them as better persons.
Isn’t it gratifying if the teachers are teaching with a heart for in doing this will create better results on the learners who are the real center of the teaching-learning process.
The mind cannot stand alone in teaching without the heart to feel and understand the learners.
