In countries around the world with a strong programme on technology education, they feel that technological thinking is a matter for the youth. The technological culture must permeate the life of the youth that they seek technological excellence for the advancement and survive of their country.

          So important is technology is education that the continuum of technology education starts right from pre – school and goes all the way to college. At the elementary level, children are taught to investigate how things work and find solutions to problems. At the high school level, technological subjects are taught to enable the students to select which careers to choose. At the university level students specialize in depth in the technology for their career.

          It is the contention of proponents of technology education that education is not balance and well – rounded unless it relates to the technological world. Without such relation it is “ like a book with missing pages.”
