ICT endeavor in the past few years in the Philippine Curriculum undeniably invades every classroom which was successfully implemented by teachers and administrators. We are now in the techno-age learning settings inside and outside the four corners of our classrooms. Highlights of these initiatives include the launch and inspection of computer packages deployed to schools, the introduction of new applications used for interactive learning encounters and utilization of using technology to unify school forms, reports and other essential documents within the department.

LIS facility which started way back 2011 is one easy step toward the realization of a centralized data file system for every Filipino learner that posters DepEd’s commitment to improve itself to better serve its stakeholders. This site gives an access to the school to encode permanently the child’s important identity wherever he/she goes around the country. It also entails brief but precise history of his/her educational journey. Through this facility, the learners will never be departed on their academic profile and help them to be easily tracked and recognized. In the absence of hard documents, LIS information could be a valid basis for a child to be acknowledged and accepted in any school in the country. LIS is also the best e-record file system because once encoded it will be permanently available anytime and everywhere with the presence of internet connectivity and essential user accounts and passwords.

In compliance with the DepEd Order No.11, s. 2018 entitled ” Guidelines on the Preparation and Checking of School Forms” schools created the School Checking Committee spearheaded by the school principal.  This committee aims to provide assistance in securing records and maintaining reliable learners’ file. Committee grade chairs lead the pre-checking of school forms in their respective grade levels and records all inconsistencies at hand.
