In the age of modernization, the field of education particularly the teachers must be well-abreast with latest technology in order to be updated with the latest trends. The use of technology in teaching profession can be more convenient and more fruitful.
Initially, teachers adapted the computerized lesson plans in their daily routine. It was followed by the presentation of the lessons through power point and videos. These tremendously changed the Philippine education better because the traditional ways of teaching was altered by innovation brought by technology.
The Department of Education progressively continues to introduce new ways in the teaching profession. The traditional forms for reports for example were made better by making them computerized in nature. The forms for promotions and other reports had its new look or appearance because of technology.
The BEIS was transformed into EBEEIS making the reports about the school be systematic and accurate through the aid of technology. Even the LIS or report on the enrollment and promotions of pupils or students were made faster and more organized.
Moreover, a lot of reports and forms may be downloaded easily for efficient accomplishment of duties and responsibilities.
Even the communication of the division is being transmitted through its website, making them more accessible to the teachers.
The memorandums, events and all the worthwhile activities of the Department of Education are being transmitted very well through the website brought by technology.
The electronic power generates better opportunities, work and accomplishments in our educators at the present generation.
Truly, the magic and power of technology invaded the field of education but it is for the better. Teaching and technology play hand in hand to provide better education and service to the educational clientele.
The emergence of technology is advantageous since it speeds up the process and eradicates the traditional ways.
