In the midst of technological advancement, there are teachers who still do not embrace the wonders of modern technology brought by computers.  It is about time that teachers must be adept with technology being utilized in the classroom. 

 

It is inevitable that teachers and students must have an access to technology for a more successful teaching-learning process. The future would be more promising if computers are used in the classroom.

 

Before the teacher starts the class, he/she can prepare systematically all his/her lessons by means of the power of technology.  The traditional preparation will be much faster, economical and time saving if computers will be used.

 

Even the preparation of teaching and instructional devices can be easier and faster if the graphics brought by technology will be employed.

 

Moreover, the audio-visual presentations that were presented by traditional equipments or machine can be presented stimulatingly by modern gadgets and equipments brought by computer evolution.

 

Furthermore, the access to researches and inquiries to different fields here and abroad and even beyond can be possible through the computer internet connection of the modern technology.

 

The actual classroom discussion will be reactivated and reenergized since the conventional chalk and talk will be replaced by interactive boards, tripods, slides and LCD.  It is presenting the lesson on one touch on the computer cursor or on the computer screen.

 

The evaluation or assessment can find greater heights by means of computer.  In addition the checking and recording can be highly manipulated to the advanced system innovations of computers.

 

Teachers must only accept and embrace these constructive changes and these will make the teaching profession, easier, fast-faced and more convenient.  

 

It is about time to make a big change.  Technology is here to stay and will be instrumental in changing the traditional ways to modern ones.

 

Don’t be left behind. Have technology in your classroom.  Be updated!
