Most students now a days considered math as one of the most difficult subject in school that they usually fear. They don’t want to study math because of its complicated concepts. Another reason is that, they don’t have strong foundation in learning mathematics. With these reasons, sometimes they prefer not to engage their selves in the teaching-learning process that leads them to have low grades and sometimes fails in the subject. That is why, teachers are encourage to use different strategies or interventions to cope up with this kind of scenarios inside the classroom. One of the strategies is by using technology in teaching math.  So how does it work and what is its important?

Technology refers to the use of tools, gadgets and resources that help us control and adapt to our environment. Technology has become an important part of our life. Almost every day we use technology such as computers, tablets, textbooks, cellphones etc. Without it, we cannot easily adapt in this kind of environment. According to PBS Learning Media research, 74% of teachers surveyed responded that using classroom technology motivates students to learn.Using technology inside the classroom, especially during math period can help students to learn the concepts in math.. Using technology also allows many students to be actively thinking about information, making choices, and executing skills than the typical teacher-centered scenario. With these, by using technology in the classroom as part of a teaching tool, makes students to be more engage in the teaching-learning process. Thus they can develop new knowledge, skills and appreciate the importance of math that is very important in today’s world.
