The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of challenges in education. Technology plays a vital role in the delivery of the teaching and learning process. The Department of Education (DepEd) included distance learning as an effective modality to interact with students in online classes. The effective use of digital learning tools in classrooms can increase student engagement, help teachers improve their lesson plans, and facilitate personalized learning. It also helps students build essential 21st -century skills. Application tools like Zoom, Google Classroom, Form, Jamboard, Drive, and Sheets are just some of the available programs that can be used to deliver an interactive lesson in a virtual classroom. Technology can create more inclusive learning environments that foster collaboration and inquisitiveness and enable teachers to collect data on students’ performance. However, some of the challenges encountered by the teachers and students in their virtual classes are the slow signals of internet connection, students were exposed to health problems like radiation, headache, and the blurring of visions. The world is already driven by technology, and everyone should embrace it and use it effectively. It brings people closer to one another even in remote places. It increases productivity and efficiency and fosters collaboration and communication among teachers and students in online learning. They can solve problems together and collaborate on activities, share their thoughts and ideas, and support each other.
