Teaching is not just a mere job, it is a passion… An unending profession.

“Education is the key to success.”  This is how the proverb goes, yes, it is arguable that these words have been one of the inspirations that were embraced by the people that chased triumph.

With this, a simple perceptive was made, “educator is the key for one’s success.” But, how can a teacher attain his goal to be effective in educating his students. And in the larger and heavier scale, how can he be an instrument for one’s success?

Maybe some would say that teachers must be intellectual to be a good educator. It’s true, they should be intelligent enough to have a knowledge to share but it’s not mere intelligence that teachers must possess to say that they are efficient.

They should have the driving urge to patiently feed their students with the essential knowledge and values that the latter will be needing as an individual beings.

And with this passion, he should complement it with his sufficient patience. Because in teaching, teachers just not convey information but they also develop one’s personality. And these substances are not an overnight process but rather a long run that is filled with too many challenges.

Arguably, there are a lot of intelligent teachers, but there are only few who are chosen to be great in the eyes of their students. And this comes with heart.

A heart of a teacher cannot be seen through his master’s degrees nor recognitions he acquired, but it is by his love, care and fulfilment in seeing his student grow and learn.

A heart that beats faster and faster upon seeing his student coming out of the cocoon and geared to explore the world. This is the anatomy of a teacher, a profession that never ends.
