“One machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men. No machine can do the work of one extraordinary man.”
The gadgets that we are using, the medicines that we intake, and the others we are using in our daily live, they are all made possible by science and technology. The concept in science is too vast but it is describe as a systematic way of acquiring knowledge. It involves many processes and it takes both time and patience. It seeks out to explain some occurrences on Earth and as well as in the universe. It also describes how and why things happen.
Knowledge in Science was starts from possibilities. Then from that, various studies, researches, and experiments were performed before it will be fully recognized. It is not made out of magic but with the perseverance of others who devoted themselves into it.
Many things were a gift to us from Science. It made our life much easier and more convenient though on the other hand, it also makes people idle not to put any effort on what they do. They will not grow and mature since they only rely into it. There are also some theories in Science that may not be the right explanation on something since it only draws out a possible answer. Maybe it is just a miscalculation or it’s just that there are things existed and no one will be able to express it right.
Some also says that coincidence plays a role in Science, for every such discovery, there is always a coincidence. Just for an instance, Newton discovers about gravity when an apple falls down to a tree, another is about the story of when Archimedes discovered density. It means that if Newton was not given a chance to see an apple fall down, then he will not discover gravity. As well as what happen to Archimedes, if the king didn’t call him to check out if his crown was a true gold or not and if he didn’t go for a bath that day, then he will not discover intensity.
Science doesn’t tell us to believe everything it says. It is our decision to whether we will trust it or not. That’s also the reason why people are given enough intelligence.
