“The search for knowledge is a never- ending process” as a quote goes. It implies that as we are still alive, it is a need to learn and study various things to survive different challenges in life. School is a very functional institution that molds and helps every one of us to learn and have a wider range and level of studying in order to be educated. Studying, which was not only obtained in school, can also be taken from different opportunities in situations outside the community.

But let us focus on the students’ general aspect of study habit nowadays, the way on how to deal with their lessons, participate in the class, cooperate with their classmates and fulfill the duties and activities needed to be done. Students of today have shattered minds and inconsistent conditions in studying. Due to other factors that affect their study routine such as computer game addiction, gadget addiction, vices and other things that can hinder a better opportunity on studying. Also, people around a person who studies can also be a primer factor. For instance, if the parents of a student is not able to give him/ her support in such a way of pushing to be more determined, motivating to do your best and so on.

Likewise, teachers can also be a factor in the study habit of students. Teachers can affect in such a way that he/she is not capable of uplifting the ability of a student and he/she doesn’t have enough time to prepare and do his best in teaching students. Meaning to say, an inefficient teacher can make a passive learner wherein study habit will be greatly affected.

But most of all, still it depends on the student himself. If a student is determined to study and perform well do his job and finish the activities on time, with full interest and self- motivation of pursuing a dream. Everything depends on the student himself and it’s a matter of choice. Remember, a saying says that “It’s not the school making the students but it’s the students making the school.” With proper parental and teacher guidance, building up interest and motivating them to give their good shot, not only the study habit will be in good flow but also proper time management will be developed.
