Economics is a course offered in the tertiary or college level. Students that will take up this course have something in their minds all about business and planning. And since the implementation of the K-12 curriculum, economics are included as one of the subjects to be completed for all of the tracks in the Senior High School. Teachers are faced in a more difficult situation thus teaching economics requires a specialization to the subject itself. However, economics requires students to analyze and promotes critical thinking ability, the teacher should go extra mile to survive his students until the very last minute of his class to be participative and alert. The teacher should device the most effective ways in teaching Economics and Sri Aurobindo Marg shares that the steps included in teaching Economics are making lectures more interactive through brainstorming, asking for examples and sharing of students’ personal experiences relevant to a topic. Strategies beyond lectures included small group collaborative learning methods that range from using the print and electronic media to undertake group discussions, problem solving based learning, case studies, project work and games. She has found peer teaching a particularly relevant strategy that engages students and helps children learn in a non‐threatening environment.  She alsomotivates economics teachers by pointing out that a little planning and organization and implementing one strategy at a time along with refining old strategies can enrich our curriculum and the experience learners get from an Economics. This will take our students to focus and enrich their minds to a specific concept. Teaching economics is no way different from the other subjects, it’s on us, educators, to make them learn and value the certain subject efficiently. We are the very tool on how the students will learn meaningfully through our acquired skills and strategies in teaching.
