Teaching is the process by which a person helps other people learns. It is one of our most important activities. Teaching provides the chief means of passing knowledge into the next generation. Good teachers take an interest in their students and do all they can to help them. The best teacher makes learning enjoyable. They have a thorough knowledge of the subject they teach and individually and sometimes as a group. Although teachers generally use a variety of teaching methods and materials, they must suit them to the abilities, age, and needs of their students.
In education, teachers are those who help students or pupils learn, often in a school setting. The objective is typically a course of study, lesson plan, or a practical skill, including learning and thinking skills. The different ways to teach are often referred to as the teacher’s pedagogy. When deciding what teaching method to use, a teacher will need to consider students’ background knowledge, environment, and their learning goals as well as standardized curriculum as determined by their school district.
Pedagogy literally means the art and science of educating children and often is used as a synonym for teaching. In the pedagogic model, teachers assume responsibility for making decisions about what will be learned, how it will be learned, and when it will be learned.
Teachers should learn more about themselves, the factors that facilitate and hinder to modify teaching and learning style to teach learning by enhancing the nature and quality of what occurs in the classroom. He argues that teaching style is more than a set of interesting personal qualities. Rather such qualities are related to our preference for particular instructional processes and are often markers that students, administrator, peers and other employ when judging the effectiveness of teacher.
Teaching is the noble profession. Teachers do create memories, a memory that will last for a life time. If you treat your student well they will treat you the same way or even if more than that. In able to become a good teacher who will teach the learners we should teach ourselves first on how to become a good person physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Always put God first in all your decisions or actions, he will guide you in whatever problems or situations that you are involve. Be a good follower of the word of God so that you will be a good teacher of them all.
