Teaching is a noble profession.

            There are teachers today who are becoming impatient for reasons. Some,instead of teaching decided to engage in business, others transfer to other office.

Others try their luck overseas. To be a teacher is to be dedicated to their job. They know their subject, they know their targets. if their learners fail, they also fail. But teachers today, are not dealing only with the teaching job, they also do a lot of paper works, attend series of seminars, do coaching and trainings, sometimes leave their respective classes for these matters.

            In this case, substitutes take over. Sometimes, teachers call these “ extra curricular activities” extra load or burden because they suffer or sacrifice for these.

            They render extra efforts, extra time just to hold these extra curricular activities because it is a requirement and part of the curriculum.

            Sometimes, they were given service credits, but oftentimes none. Their allowance depends on their luck. Teachers have lots of works to accomplish each day, lesson plans, grading sheets, report, visual aids for the day’s lesson etc.

            If they are absent, their valid reasons are common, either a member of the family is sick or they are the ones.

            Remember teachers are parents too….

            Teachers are but humans, they also need a lot of considerations.

            If teachers become abusive, that’s another questions….

            In general, the job of a teacher is not easy as ABC….
