Basically, the parent-teacher relationship contributes to the child’s success in school.  This is very much true since the two sides (parent and teacher) are well-enough to guide and educate the learner leading to the greatest potential.

The parents entrusted their child to the teacher because they have a strong belief and confidence on the capacity and character of the teacher that he/she will endow the best of everything to the learner.

Teachers are basically loving and caring.  They really adore and understand the child.  They exert their utmost patience in nurturing the child in reaching development and progress.  In doing so, it seems that teachers are the second parents of the learner.

On the part of the teacher, it is truly rewarding if you are a part of an individual’s change and improvement.

On the other hand, a parent must be visible enough in school to check and follow up the performance and achievement of the child.  He or she must establish a constant and consistent communication with the teacher regarding the child.

In this way, the parents and teachers are together working for the benefit of the learners.

A positive parent-teacher relationship can be much inviting and encouraging to the pupils to exert their best performance in various subjects, activities and undertakings.  Consequently, their academic and social development will be enhanced.

The communication on both sides creates a link in giving information in two-way channel.  Also the camaraderie is built and strengthened.

By communicating effectively, the teacher and parents will not find hard time in the proper upbringing of the child.

Moreover, the parent-teacher relationship could create an approach with respect, can resolve situations in a calm and light manner and could establish honesty with each other.

Outstandingly, the relationship established between the parent and teacher will be for the sake of the learner who is the center of the educative process.
