Department of Education and Local Government Units are partners in creating schools that are complete with necessary facilities for the welfare of students and teachers. All public schools are mandated to allocate forty-five students in a classroom for better learning. Crowded classrooms may not be conducive for learning and may harm students’ health. Actually forty-five students in a classroom is still crowded but that is better than sixty students.
Crowded and not conducive classroom is one of the reasons why students show poor performance scores in National Achievement Test. Every individual is unique, imagine the teaching dealing with forty-five (45) different individuals. Students won’t be given an assistance they need from the teacher if there are too many of them in one room.
What are the characteristics of a conducive environment or classroom?
- The students are safe and free from any form of bullying.
 - The students’ number is proportion to the number of chairs.
 - The room has proper ventilation and enough source of light.
 - All the facilities are accessible for students need such as comfort rooms, canteen, wash area and a place where they can rest and for recreation.

A conducive environment will encourage students to attend his classes regularly. It will be a good motivation to do well in school because he knows he can rely to his school. It can set the mind of the students to strive harder for them to achieve their dreams.
School serves as the second home for the students, this is the place where they learn not only academically but also how to mingle with their peers. Educators must see to it that every classroom will serve as the best place to learn where students will be inspired to do their best.
