Most of us read because it provides us the pleasure of knowing and learning. Through reading, we develop knowledge that we can use in our everyday life. In fact, we spend 80 percent of doing things that involves reading in our daily lives. We read signages, recipes, printed announcements and advertisements, labels of products and goods. We read instructions and directions on the streets. When we want to relax we read books, magazines, comics and other stories. When we study, we do lot of readings.

Reading actually becomes a part of our lives. According to experts, reading is the golden key to the world of enlightenment and enjoyment. We read because we want to explore, discover, and unveil things which are unfamiliar to us. Reading is a significant instrument of uncovering the questions and mysteries of everything. It is a tool in unveiling the unknown and unidentified. Readers know, understand and interpret what he reads.

The reader is able to go beyond himself, to be other person, to be in other places, to feel other’s experiences and emotions and to do other things. Books can make us explore everywhere and to discover the unknown things in this world. Through reading we can go beyond to the other unknown world.
