On one occasion, a young girl caught the cores of netizens, not because of any astonishing talent but of her gratefulness.
After gaining two (2) subscribers on Youtube channel, Mary Grace Escober who is a 9-year-old aspiring Youtube vlogger celebrated her momentous event with a small cupcake and matchsticks as candles. Other people may contemplate it ridiculous, but Mary Grace’s pure wisdom of thankfulness reverberated with millions of netizens and actually earned her more than 200 thousand subscribers.
Counting blessings and not failures, the story of Mary Grace has taught us millions of reasons to celebrate even the smallest success we achieve, and be truly thankful to our every milestone.
This pandemic has brought us to tremendous challenges and unexpected situations. People are mandated to stay at home. Only one member of the family is allowed to go out to buy necessities. A lot of complaints have been raised, but come to think of it deeply. While the whole world is under this pandemic many of us kneeled again to pray, most families eat together, young generation stayed at home, fruit juice became popular, most vices stopped, many people spread the love of helping others, pollution was lessened, majority tend to walk to buy their needs, and most of all everybody now realized the importance of life and good health. When the time comes that COVID-19 will leave us, may it not take away all the good values we learned together amidst this crisis. Just like Grace’s story, can we be still grateful to the fact that we are still alive and making a living behind all that is happening right now?
Many have died not only because of pandemic but also of other reasons like unemployment, mental health issues, sickness, etc. Hence, living at this moment is an achievement that we all have to celebrate every day by helping others, praying, smiling, and having a pure and happy heart.
