Most principals nowadays are happy performing their job because the position they are holding on is the fulfillment of their dreams. But, it’s not easy to hand this position. One should be able to undergo challenges and hard work just to attain the goal. The goal of  leading   a school organization. Just to discover in the attainment of this dream that performing the task of a school head is the same as assuming the job of a public servant. But besides from this truth, still,   school principals are pleased to carry on the burden of being a school head. Committed and inspired school principals treat this as a challenge, a spice on their favorite dish that makes the meal more satisfying, more enjoyable.

Different challenges come on their way. The challenge of increasing the academic performance of the school they manage, the challenge of motivating teachers that the success of the school in attaining its objectives is simply moving on their hands, that they have to perform well so that the students attain at least the minimum competencies, the challenge of facing different expectations from students, teachers, parents, local officials and even education officials… those are just some.

Another challenge is on their way. The school heads in the 21st century are expected to be performing more that what went before. The challenge of being an instructional leader, a technology leader and a transformational leader bring the job more fulfilling. It is not easy. Once the school heads works on these types of leadership, surely, resistance, confusion, boredom will prevail. This scenario then, calls for someone that motivates;   somebody   that   translate    his / her vision into action… he is… the leaderthe instructional leader.

It is, therefore, wise to say that the school heads who affirm the job as instructional leader, a technology leader and a transformational leader. Fellow schools heads, can we? Shall we?… Let us!!!
