Teachers are manufacturers of different teaching methods and approaches.  They are the designers as well as users of some strategies that can be very useful to their clients – the students.

The primary purpose of teaching is to make the students learn in an enjoyable manner—a stressed-free, pressured – free learning.

Creativity helps a teacher to execute their tasks that are appealing to their students. Creative teaching approach is vital for the effectiveness of a teacher because students learn in their own unique way.  It brings out students’ potential and talent that can create learning.

Here are possible ways on how to employ creative teaching approach to teaching:

  1. Surroundings are important. Teachers must adapt environment suitable to students’ abilities to nourish sound learning ambience.
  2. Use multi-media to keep the students interested and motivated.  This will give the students a chance to learn in variety of manner.
  3. Use stories, anecdotes, role plays, debates, narrative pieces and the like so that students can appreciate different values—values that they can adhere when they grow old.
  4. Manufacture different make-over in your teaching styles.  Standing in front of the students lecturing and discussing is a thing of the past, find ways to creativity.  Incorporate the knowledge and skill in using computers and other electronic devices which today is the trend of learning.
  5. Keep your class in-tuned with the different scenarios that they can relate to and promote critical reflection so that they can see things from different perspectives.
  6. Produce new and clever ways to execute learning in a manner that students will enjoy and appreciate it.

The key to creative teaching is to keep the learning fun, exciting and innovative while still managing classroom situation to impart important information that students need to learn.
