To make teaching more effective and productive, the teacher must know the:

Child’s capacity to learn. The teacher should be conscious of the fact that each pupil need to be stimulated, directed and guided.

He is a unique individual. The teacher must keep in mind that the mental growth and development,don’t follow a similar pattern for all students.

Interest of the learner.  teacher must realize that the pupils frequently respond in different ways to the same stimulus.

Learner’s behavior at any given moment is the result of environmental factors.

Differences among the learners. The teacher must provide activities that will lead to progress and development of each child.

            As a whole, the teacher must bear in mind not to expect the learner to achieve equally in all school subjects and activities. Hence, teaching is effective only when learner is the center of educative process.
