In a general context of the word, the term teacher pertains to a person who teaches, explains, instructs, mentors or trains others.
It has been a wrong perception that teaching is a growing lucrative source of income.
It’s not! To support my contention, allow me to educate you my dear friends how a teacher works.
First, his major role is to input information or knowledge… an agent of knowledge, in other words. In doing so, he devices various means to perk up the ambiance of learning inside the four corners of his classroom.
He too sphereheads groupworks, recitations, skills , written works, community projects, etc.
He as well is an innovator, who works hard enough for change to happen for the general welfare of his students.
An assessor, viewing objectively the improvement of each student under him.
A good example – as the toughest role. Why toughest? It’s because you are he clear mirror of the students you do produce as a teacher.
For a good teacher, I vehemently believe, is someone who teaches what is right, what is true, what is just, what is beautiful, and to the highest scale, is someone who teaches that God is our only hope and we need to surrender our lives to Him. For we can’t do anyrhing without His guidance.
