Education system changes so we need to cope with the challenges in this age where students have embraced the different forms of modernization such as the gadgets, social media, etc. As our surrounding becomes more complicated, we teachers need to adapt ourselves so that the problem with generation gap may be solved. Our activities inside the classroom must be appealing to the students because they are now hard to please. Their attention is divided. Teachers need to compete with many factors, the cell phones, the ipad, the mp4, head set, and the like. What is really the problem why teachers find it difficult to deal with the students nowadays?
Based on an article published by Angelo G. Garcia dated March 6, 2014 entitled Education change, the Filipino standards and the standards from around the world are not that different. The difference is in the delivery and that is something that has been evolving. It’s not like one country is better than the other. It’s just that one country has recognized the need and that need is being shared now and met throughout the world.
In my opinion, teachers must adapt to the changes in the education system and should improve themselves by studying and attending trainings and seminars.
