The Winners of Losing

“ Shoot that ball!, shoot that ball!”. Everyone in the crowd is shouting his name. The drop of sweat from his arms fell into the floor. As the ball thrown into the air, the buzzer stops. Disappointment seems to be obvious on everyone’s face. As I recall, I almost cry. Losing is always part of…

Losing is always part of the game. We always make sure that we have given our best, although it is not a guarantee of winning, we always give it a try.

People have different ways of accepting defeats. Some think of it as a room for improvement and some deal with it as end of what they are fighting for. We always have that negative thought when it comes to losing. Some being cheated or some being biased. Losing is always been misquoted by some, but people tend to be misled on how to accept being defeated. People are born competitive, that is why the struggle on fighting for victory is in our hearts.

Thinking the other way around, losing became a part of our lives. Whether we like it or not, we have to take it. It will leave a broken piece in our heart, but we must admit that it makes us strong and determined in reaching our life’s goal. By finding the reason of our failure and convert it into strong points which we can use for progress and enhancement. The first step of overcoming defeats is accepting the fact itself that losing is only in the mind of losers, but winners think of it as first step of their journey in the victory of life.

“Shoot that ball!, Shoot that ball!”. Everyone in the crowd is shouting his name. The drop of sweat from his arms fell into the floor. As the ball thrown into the air, the buzzer stops.

Overwhelming happiness is in everyone’s face. As I recall I almost cry. Victory is ours.
