The sudden implementation of tht K-12 Program in the Phillipines is really not new when we talked about refinement or changes in the Philippine Educational System, because this issue was already addressed long time ago during the administration of different administration.

We know for a fact that, education in the Philippines before is offering a ten year basic education program which is common among undeveloped countries. To ensure the quality and equitable education, the Department of Education with the connived efforts with the present administration adapt the educational system of most developed countries which is 12 years.

Why is it beneficial to have this kind of program in the Philippines, because Filipino professionals are not considered professionals across the globe. They need to undergo additional units in the degree abroad before they could be considered as one.

Despite the absence of most materials for this new educational system, the Department of Education implemented it. The sacrifices falls on the front liners in the educational system, this is the teachers. There are lots of irregularities in terms of implementing the program because materials are not yet available up to this time, where we know that we are on the third grade in elementary and 9th grade in secondary.

Yes, it will be beneficial for the graduates of K-12, but if we cannot acquire all the necessary materials, maybe this program will be a failure. We still cannot evaluate it today because it is still on the process of completion, what are we going to expect in the very near future.

Are we confident that we can produce a graduate of K-12 program with enough skill they need for job in the future.
