Teach the children well. Show them how to plant trees in the school, home and hills. Tell them to reduce pesticides and chemicals that would find their way into water tables. Teach them not to throw rubbish in the river.
Teach the children well. Tell that life is sacred, be it of lower or higher for. They shall not harm animals. They can put up wildlife-corridors to bring animals from the hills to the town.
Teach the children well. Tell them to respect the sea. Tell them that proper management, the sea can regenerate itself bringing back ample fish. Render unto nature what nature will render to us.
Teach the children well. Tell them that next to Godliness is cleanliness. Show them what positive feeling there is when people work together to maintain cleanliness of the community.
Teach the children well. Tell them that united we stand divided we fall. We can go forward if we are united as people. Even if we are the best individual talents, we cannot go far as soloist. There is strength when we band together and good music comes only when we blend each other.
Teach the children well. Tell them that the best things in life are simple. Teach them that highest form of complexity is simplicity.
Teach the children well. Tell them that we still have the best workers and managers whose contributions are appreciated not only here but abroad. Teach them that in life’s cycle, there are ups and downs. But we cannot go up by being complacent. We need to have a goal, strive and work hard for that we can compete with the best and brightest in the global market.
Teach the children well. Tell them that we can be all heroes. We need not to be ten feet tall. In our daily lives, we can be heroes by working diligently to keep the economy running and putting our share to make one communities liveable.
Teach the children well. Tell that this is their only land and their only nation. They are its only people in life’s journey, through ups and downs; there is always a light somewhere. For this is the country of hope.
Teach the children well. They are the children of the future. The future is now.
