A total quality school is based on the idea that every individual involved in the teaching-learning process holds similar beliefs and values, if implemented properly. Total Quality Management(TQM)is a methodology that can help education experts cope with today’s  challenges. I t can be used to alleviate fear and increase trust in schools.TQM can be a linkage between education ,business and government which ensure that education professionals are provided with the resources necessary to attain quality education.

A new definition of quality  is based on the ’pillars of quality’ in the Total Quality School Model which are the foundations for the transformation to quality. This transformation begins with the adaptation of a shared dedication to quality by the school board,

administration, staff’, student ,parents, and the community. Each pillar supports the cultural transformation that schools must undergo to achieve a quality culture. Achieving a quality culture in education in any organization is hard work that is accomplished over a long period of time.

Most education professionals enter the field of education because they want to contribute to the growth and development of children which is of quality.Unfortunately, education professionals cannot wait a long period of time, say, five years to demonstrate the benefits of quality. Therefore, major component of TQM to implementing quality is the development of a measurement system that enables every education expert to measure the added value of his quality teaching and initiative. This enables educators to measure the effectiveness of their teaching, methods and techniques and to demonstrate the added value of education to the community.
