“The future of the next generation must not be put in jeopardy,” statement under the article on the page. Considering the equilibrium between ecological and economic growth must stand together where both aspects are the sole basis for the success and progress of the province. “As industrialization takes place, their adverse environmental effects have to be considered,” the article added.

With the help of 129 groups including 1Bataan, Sangguniang Kabataan, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and the Province of Bataan, they have shared the responsibility to empower environmental responsiveness among every individual  through crowdsourcing to encourage young generation to protect their future through a simple action which is planting.

More than 400 individuals participated on 1M41B Challenge which caused these plants to sequester 48 pounds (per year) of CO2 and other harmful particles to humans aside from the fact that trees produces the air we breathe. These plants helped to lessen the large quantity of CO2 that were trapped in our atmosphere which consequently made our surroundings warmer, this is what we called greenhouse effect which led to cause a severe change in our climate now.

The 1M41B Challenge is going to give prizes and acknowledgements for the individual category that will be randomly selected. For group category, the highest number of trees planted and survived privately by an individual and group will win. They will also provide Barangay Category for District 1 and District 2. And last prize is for the municipality/city that planted and survived the most numbers of trees.
