What should leaders know to handle and communicate well to their employees.
Care for your Employee. Taking care of your employees doesn’t mean paying them big, but having a heart for them as their Leader. We often misunderstood employees by seeing them merely as slaves. “Oh, do what I want because I’m paying You!” Please don’t be that beast they hate. “Come on! We need to do this for us to achieve our goals.” Be the Mentor they respect.
Lead by example. As the main person to lead your employees, be the best example they know and see. A true leader works with his employees to produce something better, faster. A false leader uses only his position to manipulate employees by giving them tasks but not showing them how to do it. Remember, leading by example not by position.
Set your boundaries. Be the leader who knows when to throw a joke and when to be strict. Give employees the discipline they deserve. Do not let them feel too comfortable making yourself tied up with “They are my friends and I can let things pass.” Soon, they will no longer gave you the respect you deserve.
