Pursuant to Memorandum PAS-OD-2021-030 issued by Director IV, June Arvin C. Gudoy requesting all regional and division offices to adopt the VACC2School: Ligtas na bakuna para sa Balik Eskwela and immediately Cataning Elementary School joined the advocacy campaign to encourage our dear parents/ stakeholders to take part in the immunization program of the national government. Thru the initiative of our Health Coordinator Mrs. Analiza G. Taguinod as instructed by our school head Mrs. Agnes O. Magdalera, Cataning Elementary School immediately posted campaign material for VACC2School: Ligtas na bakuna para sa Balik Eskwela infront of the school gate. Meanwhile, our school head directed all teaching and non- teaching staff to change their profile picture border of their social media account into VACC2School: Ligtas na bakuna para sa Balik Eskwela to encourage the public to gain trust and confidence to the immunization program of government. For the record our DepEd Secretary Leonor M. Briones was also hit by the covid19 virus, where she undergo medication and sooner a recipient of the vaccine under the vaccination program of our national government. Department of Education employee fall under A4 category in the vaccination program of our government and these will materialize on the 3rd quarter of the year 2021. Cataning Elementary School are working hand in hand with the Local Government Unit as well as with the SDO Balanga in campaigning to our stakeholders to avail the vaccination program of our government, because this is the only weapon which we can combat covid 19 virus.
