Leaders and teachers always make a difference in society and in the lives of the
learners. Being a leader or teacher does not necessarily mean having authority, but there
must be qualities that others can emulate. They are willing to learn all the essential skills to
expand his/her capabilities. In fact, before you can be a good teacher, you must first be a
good learner. One should have foresight and always have a vision. Goals should be set that
need to be pursued and achieved for the benefit of everyone and especially for the benefit
of their clientele. It is said that a leader without a vision accomplishes nothing, but a leader
with a clear vision achieves something.
Be passionate. Teachers are highly active or dynamic agents. He/she is very
passionate about doing his job and fulfilling his duties, obligations and responsibilities. He/
she has a tireless energy to work for the betterment of the school and the educational
community as a whole.
Be committed. Teachers demonstrate a clear commitment to everything they do. He/
she has a big heart dedicated to his teaching profession. He/she thinks about the services
he/she provides, not about the time and effort he/she puts in for the school and its people.
Teachers become truly committed as soon as they are given the perfect opportunity to do
something for others. Actively, teachers continue to perform various tasks that are
important to others.
Be innovative. Teachers do more than improve or develop their knowledge and skills
in order to become more productive and fruitful in their teaching profession. He continues
to acquire his own advanced skills and shares them with people for their progress.
Think about it. Teachers think before they say or do something. He/she is fairer and
takes great care to set a good example. Clearly, true teacher-leaders have the potential for
exemplary quality.
