I have been teaching in a public school for almost 14 years. I can say that being a teacher is never an easy job. It entails a lot of sacrifices, patience, perseverance, and a big heart to understand the students’ behavior. I have made here some of the things that make teachers happy despite stressful yet fulfilling jobs. As they say, teaching is the noblest profession, and this makes me proud of who I am today.

• Good attitude of students. Teachers are very happy if their students have a good attitude. They respect their teachers, do their activities, and submitted assigned tasks on time. Teachers are also the first one to be happy if one of their students become successful in Their success is also the teacher’s success as they became part of their academic journey.
• Promotions and accomplishments. Nothing could make every teacher happy if they got promoted from their This is the best accomplishment and a happy pill for every teacher out there.
• Talk with a circle of friends in school. Even though they have a lot of work to be done, reports are to be submitted ASAP, and still teachers find time to talk to their friends or co-teachers when they needed one Sometimes their chit-chat makes them “Marites”.
• Having salary or bonuses. What makes every teacher happy, and smiling is when their salaries and bonuses are credited to their ATM card. As teachers were able to have a budget for their food, allowances for their children, and payments for bills. This is also the time for teachers to pamper themselves and look more
• Summer and Christmas vacation. These are the seasons and time to free ourselves from stress and freshen up our minds. It is the time to enjoy swimming and beaching with our loved ones and It is a great way to escape from reality.
• Travel and adventure. It is a great feeling for every teacher to go on an adventure or travel to other places they have never been to. This refreshes their mind and reinvigorates their energy as the saying goes “work and work without play makes a dull person”. Teachers never forget to include this in their bucket list of things to do to make life more enjoyable and
• Love for Family. Of all the things that we have and want in life is the love for It is the best medicine for a tired soul to have our own family with us and love us unconditionally. The very reason why teachers work hard is because of their love for their families.
