It was March 2020 when we experienced lockdown in different parts of the country. Many became so afraid when Covid-19 was reported to reach the country. Panic buying was done because Lockdown means we are not allowed to leave our home except for those healthcare workers. Many became so afraid of what might happen to their life since all are advised to stay at home. As lockdown was extended for months and months became year now, many establishments decided to permanently close their businesses due to money problems and no profit gain and it led to losing of jobs of workers. Hunger became the fear of many since they cannot go outside to look for new job opportunity and means of surviving.

Students switched to distance learning modalities like online learning and modular learning to continue their studies. It was quite hard for the students to adjust since they are after face-to-face learning. Some requested for academic freeze, but it did not happen. So many parents became their kids’ tutor and became very hands on parents for the learning of their children. School year 2020-2021 is almost over and still many adjustments should be made and we are all doing our best to survive this school year.

There may not be exact date or year this pandemic will end, but we must move forward and continue our lives despite of what is happening around us.
