It is impossible to predict every possible event consistently. Even the best teachers experience testing behavior. If possible, we should prevent potential behavior problems before they happen. And our abilities show what we truly are when a real problem arises.
Instead of shouting or merely screaming, body language is the most effective way to indicate you know that they are tempted. Raised eyebrows, a frown or even a smile will discourage the majority of the pupils from an about to happen misdemeanor.
Teachers should always remind the children about the schools discipline procedure. They should apply it consistently. They should follow the system properly.
Teachers must also be reminded not to get into big arguments. It is better to send them out if possible and deal with the situation when the pupil and the teacher have cooled off and the rest of the class is on task. The time allotted for the subject matter should not be wasted when a problem arises.
Lastly, ask for help if needed. Everyone will struggle at some time and there is nothing to be ashamed of. For real, your co-teachers will back you up.
Lastly, do not dwell on the bad lessons or take them personally. Decide what could have done to make them better and how you would try to prevent it happening again.
