The fast pacing changes of the world has brought a huge impact to the educational mainstream. No wonder, chaos and contracting views spring upon to hinder the underlying essence of change. The vulnerability of the educators themselves to inevitable transformation affects to deliver responsive instruction.
On the other hand, the advent of social media primarily the Internet is a total influence to the part of the youth. The result may be favourable if it is considerably hone the skill and mentality of the child. However, knowing that the greatest portion of modern advances effect yields a terrifying outcome where in the parents feel devastated blaming the government must be the one who initially react to this sensitive issue.
Stakeholders cannot escape the fact of countless hindrances and tribulations the present education setting has been confronting throughout the century. Additionally, the bygone cases which are still inflicting today to impede the academic progression.
Looking back from traditional philosophy of education, the teaching structure basically imposed by the teacher up to today’s on-going research and studies to improve and rectify the issues regarding education. Hence, the adversities have noticeablycontinued without proper and long lasting solution.
One way of adapting to a new setting is to implement the global educational curriculum which also brought by the endless changes. An intention to mark differences and soon may cause a justifiable result.
Whatever the educational reforms it will be, in the end the importance of teachers in the 21st century and how he/ she executes the teaching will still be more significant above any other. Therefore, the teacher should learn to adjust himself/ herself to the various changes.
As this quote says by Jimmy Dean, “I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.” Thus every teacher must be flexible and versatile in whom the students can simply lend their attention and offer their response. Expect the unexpected.
