Are the workers passionate in their work or pressured to earn money? In life, working is something inevitable and it is a must to survive in this world. If you do not have work or any source of income then clearly, settling down and living a comfortable life would be nearly impossible unless you are an heir to your parents multimillionaire company still, your parents worked their asses off to build that empire.
In all honesty, having to work to support yourself and your loved ones is hard especially when opportunities to work are lacking because of certain circumstances and complexities that life brings such as the pandemic. As the world continues to evolve towards a modernized society, money also continues to run and dominate the world and its people. Clearly, without money life would be nothing and meaningless.
It’s very easy for most people to say that money doesn’t buy happiness and this may be easy for them to say because they have sufficient and more than enough money for them to not worry about their future. But how about the people who are less privileged and do not have the same financial support in life. Without a doubt, money can buy happiness. The happiness that I am pertaining to is the happiness that comes from health security, food security, and being able to buy and afford your wants and needs. Wouldn’t it be so peaceful to fall asleep at night without having to worry if there would be food on the plate the next day?
The role that money plays in the current society controls the lives of everyone. Because of the immense need for money to survive, many people are forced to take up jobs that they are not passionate about just to earn money. People are giving up their dreams to choose practicality for the sake of money.
Money has always been a problem for most people and the occurrence of the pandemic has made this problem worse. Workers, employees or the labor force in general were forced to take a leave from work as companies and establishments were shut down because of the looming threat of pandemic. The workers are then forced to transition to the work from home set-up in order to continue working, and they adapt quickly to these changes.
These situations only show the passion of the workers to continue doing their work to continue earning because how can one survive without money. With the additional burdens piling up due to the pandemic, the workers are passionate to work with the pressure of not being able to earn.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to earn a lot of money, especially if you are in need of it to get by day by day. With the pandemic occurring, the lives of many were impacted negatively because of the health and financial threat that it incurred to everyone. Clearly, choosing to earn money in the means of working passionately despite being under the pressure of the pandemic is good and beneficial in some ways because this is a long-term investment to secure your life and your loved ones.
