Anyone can hold the helm when the sea is calm, “remarked a first century philosopher” but when opposition troubles the waters it takes a steady hand to maintain direction. Many otherwise gifted “skippers” have run aground on the shoals of strike.
To keep our ships afloat we need to follow “skippers” mark the danger spots and show us how to sail around but first, why does opposition come? His probably safe to say it result from one of two opposite reasons: the leader is doing something right or he’s doing something wrong. Here are several reasons why a leader must expect opposition. First, jealously drives some to oppose us. One’s success can foster envy in another, this is especially true among peers. Watch out for the green-eyed monster jealousy. Power hunger is a second and common cause of opposition that has spelled the doom for many leader goals. A leader who desires to lead on established organization to new heights may meet opponent of growth. A third potential problem is resistance to change. Some people view variation as a line at they like the status quo: “We have always done it this way” finally, those negative thinker oppose a leader.
Have you heard of Murphy’s Law? This humorous “principle” declares that in a project or task, in something can go wrong it will. Problems are in evitable. Remember this it is impossible to head without facing opposition. Press on Nothing can take its place of persistence. Persistence and determination done are overwhelming powerful allowed nothing to stop on right decision us doing something right “Right is always Right” even everyone is against for it and “Wrong is always Wrong” even everyone is for it. Leaders all realistic. Leaders readjust priorities but they never lose sight of their goal. Sir Anthon Bryant, famed British historian, wrote, “No one is fit to lead his fellows unless he holds their care and well-being to be live prime responsibility, his duty, his privilege. Another writer suggest, a leader must not inflict pair upon the people both agree, a leader should deeply care for their followers, a leader can hold those who would exploit to follow.
