To be considered as a true teacher in the real sense you have to possess the following traits or characteristics:
Truthful. Being a teacher, you have to be the temple of truth. You must speak and act for what is true. A teacher should stand for what is right and for the real fact. The truthful teacher opens one’s heart to express the truth. The teacher always seeks for what is righteous and moral for he/she believes in the value of truth.
Emphatic. A teacher should be vigorous and ardent believer of goodness for the benefit of the learners. The teacher should be enthusiastic in introducing new ideas and innovations. The teacher is overflowing with definite actions that will be beneficial to our dear learners.
Adorable. A teacher should be loved by everyone most especially by the learners for the teacher is the one facing the young minds in school. He/she is someone being admired and imitated for possessing personal and professional qualities which are endearing to others.
Caring. A teacher is much caring to all most especially to the learners. A teacher is the second parent of every child in school and with this extra care is given by the teacher to the educational clientele.
Honest. A teacher is honest for honesty is one of the virtues he/she teaches in school. In words and in deeds honesty should be evident. A teacher is truly considered as a mirror of integrity not only in school but also in the entire society as well.
Energetic. The teacher has the power to move and be able to push the energy to greater heights. Teachers are always active in performing various tasks in school. The teacher is tireless and unstoppable in performing duties in fulfillment of the profession.
Resourceful. Another distinguishing quality of a teacher is being resources. He/she finds the best learning resources for the sake of the students. He/she also go beyond the four corners of the classroom just to find the best materials for students to savor and learn.
These are the qualities that really define a teacher of the modern time and they are truly admirable.
