Indigenous Peoples Education Program is a program of the Bureau of Alternative Learning System that aims to develop an IP culture-sensitive core curriculum, learning materials and a self-governing society. It is a program were their needs in education was self- designed in their native culture heritage. It recognizes, protects and promote their rights by educating the community/minority through their own curriculum. This program benefits the minorities and every IP communities to practice their rights in education. This also meant to serve as a basic resource materials in catering the needs of IP learners. IP Education is a new program of the Department, the lists are the acronyms and Abbreviations used in IP education.

This acronyms and abbreviations will benefit and be a great help to  the Alternative Learning System newly designated DALSC, Mobile Teacher, IP Teacher and Literacy Volunteer about the program.
