We often see our hair as a reflection of our identity because it is both personal and public. Many women feel that a bad hair day equals a bad day: when a woman’s hair is too fine, too frizzy, too dry, turning grey or falling out, her self-esteem is seriously affected. This deep personal relationship between hair and self-esteem is evident throughout history, philosophy and even religion. These are just a few of the things hair has symbolized for women throughout time:

We women really feel like our hair is a “crowning glory,” as this phrase is also written in the bible. According to 1 Corinthians 11: 15, “but for a woman, if her hair is abundant, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a covering.” As shown in 1 Corinthians 11: 5, “and every woman, who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered, dishonors her head; for she is on a level with her whose head is shaven.” The negative implication of a woman with a bare head is apparent in today’s society.

Even history shows that hair is a symbol of femininity. During the civil war when women weren’t to battle, hundreds of women soldiers disguised themselves as men by cutting off their hair, eventually being imprisoned upon discovery. Also hair can be associated with class and royalty.

Every women believe thatlooks matter. We know that our appearance impacts our personal, social and professional lives. We also know thathow we feel influences how we lookand vice versa — a phenomena calledbeauty self-esteem as per Dra. “V Diller”. Although we’d like to believe “what is inside counts most,”scientific evidence,as well as common sense, tells us that an appealing appearance, good health and hygiene positively impacts our lives.

With this, most of us try our best to look for the most appropriate hair cut that will suits our face, because some haircuts which look good on others but don’t look good on you and vice versa. This is because the shape of your face will determine whether a certain hairstyle will look good on you or not. Choosing the right stylist to do your hair will be very vital. Stylist definitely should know as to what hair cut will match her costumers face that is why most of us tend to spend so much just to have the look that we really wanted.

New hair cut can change your appearance sometimes it can make you a head turner,  Can make you attractive, it can also reflect your personality and outlook in life.  It can create opportunities for you or perhaps even take them away. It can influence the way you feel about yourself, it can build up your confidence or destroy it. That’s right; a bad hair day can really mean abad day.

Today society judges so unfairly, simply based on our physical appearance. But its part of human natureand everybody does it, regardless to whether they care to admit it or not.We size people up and label them within seconds. And it’s just a matter of choice.
