Usually, the learners consider Mathematics as the hardest subject from among the learning areas in the school curriculum.  But Mathematics teacher has a vital role in making this subject interesting and enjoyable.  Consequently, the love for Mathematics may be developed within each schoolchild.         

          The Mathematics teacher may possibly resolve the wrong notion on Mathematics and may shift the paradigm into much likeliness on the part of the learner towards the subject.  This task may be realized if the teacher will employ various worthwhile means in order to execute Mathematics in the way the learners may understand better the skills being presented in this subject.

          The Mathematics teacher at first should manifest mastery on the subject.  In this way the teacher may not only benefit but also the learners.  Having transferred the knowledge and skills in Mathematics will create impact and better learning on the part of the students.   Thus, aside from the students’ learning,  the trust and confidence of the learners may be gained.

         The Mathematics teacher should also apply the relevant and timely methods and strategies which may dramatically bring colors to the teaching of the subject. The learners like to witness new ways of studying Mathematics and be beyond from the usual activities.  If these happen, the Mathematics class may be redefined since the teachers are updated on the modern approaches in teaching.

          The Mathematics teacher may have fun activities during class hours which may not also bring zest and delight but also learning as well.  Students may soon realize that they are playing and at the same time absorbing the lessons which they need to acquire.  Fun-filled class is much adorable.

          The Mathematics teacher may also use technology in order to catch more students’ attention. In this way, the topics in Mathematics are presented in the way that students can easily relate. Since students are fond of computers, teaching Mathematics through the use of electronic tools may produce better and more active participation among the learners.

          The Mathematics teacher may give the learners the opportunity to work cooperatively. Once group dynamics is introduced in the Mathematics class, the students may pool ideas from each other and may synthesize them to come up with the more accurate answers.

          The Mathematics teacher may also lead the learners to discovery.  Let them exert initiative and be independent enough to attain the best answers by themselves.  For sure if the students were able to find the easiest mathematical methods or steps, the love for the subject is developed.

          The Mathematics teacher has the key role in helping the student realize that Mathematics is such a very important learning area.  It sharpens the mind and makes the individual a more knowledgeable one.  The child may develop love for Mathematics if he/she enjoys every minute of it in fun and learning and also if he is able to relate with it and if he/she fits himself/herself with it.
