Teaching is all about confidence. If a teacher is confident in class, the students can feel it. The teacher can caught the students’ attention without her knowing it. Perhaps without even realizing it, students tend to listen and focus on what the confident teacher have to say.
Teachers who were ten or more years in the teaching field seemed to be more confident than the new teachers. This is maybe because experience is the best teacher thus making senior teachers appeared to be more confident. So thus this mean that the new teachers can no longer be confident? What if we asked the more experienced teachers, are you an e-confident teacher? A single letter “e” may change your perception of being a confident teacher.
Let us describe an e-confident teacher.
You teach with e-confidence when you are prepared. Prepared with your lesson plans, visual aids and other instructional materials with the help of technology like Microsoft office.
You teach with e-confidence when you listen to what students have to say about your teaching and their learning with the aid of technology because students nowadays are more knowledgeable than their teachers when it comes to electronics technology.
Teaching with confidence is good but teaching with e-confidence is better. Thus, an e-confident teacher with a heart is the best. It is not about your past teaching experiences but your future teaching experiences with the aid of technology that will matter.
Be an e-confident teacher now.
