What is education? Why do we need education in our lives? Like our great hero once said, “Education is the most important thing you can do with your life”. It is a gift of knowledge that cannot be stolen and can bring you to the top of your dreams.

Education is important, especially to those who can’t afford to go to school because of their status in life. But the greatest treasure that can be achieved is education. I remember my parents used to say, “There are no riches that you can inherit from us, just study hard because education is the only treasure we can give you in this life”. Through education, knowledge can be enhanced. It is like a seed in a fertile soil, that if received enough sunlight, water and air it will grow to a big tree that can give fresh fruits and shelter with clean air. In education, if you are willing to study you will gain knowledge that can lead you to success. Education can bring you to the top and will help you reach your dreams. But if you don’t have education, you will end up like a sleeping sheep in a running river, which follows the flow of its current. See, if you only have education it will lead you to the right path. This can be supported and proved by the inspiring stories of poor people who became successful because of their determination to gain knowledge and to educate themselves with the things needed in this world.

Education can build a character of a person. According to Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. Like what our great heroes did before. And we can be like them; we change the world to a better place. We can inspire others to reach their own goals and dreams in this life. Be an example and inspiration through education.  So while you are young or for those who have children, let’s give an importance to our education and give the best way that we can do to have it. There are no exemptions in education as long as you’re reaching for it then go for it.
