Things are falling apart in the Philippines. The country is experiencing fiscal crisis and extreme poverty. The reasons why we all have to cooperate in the nationwide “pagtitipid”.

Our government, nowadays is implementing measures to support the “ pagtitipid ” program .Energy saving program, two-child policy, food coupon, budget cost-cutting here and there. But what is not tolerable is the budget cost cutting for education.

Education is our foundation. This serves as our passport to success. But based on what’s happening, the government is not giving due importance to this vital need in our life.

Are you aware that in every peso, a taxpayer pays, 85 centavos of it goes to our debts? The remaining 15 centavos will be divided in our other needs. Just imagine how much remains for education. It really makes me think.

Poor education is one of the roots of poverty. Because of lack of education of most people, they have a hard time finding a job that will fit in their educational attainments.

Poor education also leads to population boom. They are not educated well that’s why they are not aware of the consequences they will face if they will have bigger families.
