All throughout the preparation period of the K-12 program of the Department of Education, we can hear, both in media or in our local places different bad comments about the mentioned program.
Comments, especially coming to parents and students do curse this program. As they tell, this is a burden to them. On the part of the parents, they say that this entails additional budget allocation to them. On the part of the students, it is a two more additional burden year of staying in the school campus.
Good or bad, why not set aside giving bad comments for a while and give credits instead to those personnel, who despite receiving condemnation about the program, are still in pursuit of its preparation and implementation.
Implementation of the K-12 Program is not easy. As we can see, it is just almost 2 weeks before the classes starts yet preparations are not yet 100% accomplished.
But despite negative comments, these personnel, especially those who are in the Division office of each Region, together with the supervisors, principals and heads still work hard for the implementation of the program. Maybe they do believe that someday, though not now, we will see the good effect of K-12 program to our country. That could probably is the essence-doing your job though only few can appreciate.
Let us salute those persons that despite hardships and pressure still give their best to be able to prepare the program for its pioneer year this coming school year.
