Some students go through their everyday life unaware that they have hidden talents. First of all teachers should encourage their students to excel. They must emphasize to the students to know themselves, their strength and weaknesses-to discover their potentials.
Most failures emanate from weaknesses that are recognized or probably recognized but not given appropriate attention or remedy. Teachers must tell students that they must not be afraid of change, since the only permanent thing in this world is change. They must prepare to soar into new heights. Go for speech lessons, improve their communication skills, and upgrade their personality. Instead of giving up or indulging in self-pity, take action or whatever appropriate remedies to their perceived weakness.
However, instead of simply focusing on their weakness, they must recognize their own talents and abilities build on them and utilize them to their greatest advantage. Stevie Wonder, a famous blind and foreign singer and other blind singers did not brood over their personal handicap. They recognized that they have potentials as singer, so they search for ways to enrich their talent.
A gutsy student is never afraid of the unknown. He is prepared to take risks, for only those willing to take risk reach the top. Remember the saying, “no guts no glory”.
Students should be persistent, no matter how disappointing the situation may seem, they know that eventually, they will see the advantage of their handworks.
Another piece of advice for students, they should not be shy or they must not hide inside their shell. Read books and discover the world by interacting with people inside and outside the school.
Finally, you will realize that you are full of strengths by challenging and taking the risks.
