These days, a student on a higher level tends to look and study some things that really caught their attention. They become curious on how a thing work and eagerly respond onto some situations that are current and trends issues, and because of their curiosity their outspoken and inner thoughts becomes a spoken words that really matters nowadays. As a former student of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Social Studies taken at Bataan Peninsula State University – Balanga Campus, I have learned that the topic to discuss shall be related in the current events or things that are trending nowadays that may bring an impact to them as much as possible.
Students shall involve themselves in each task to be performed. High achiever can help those low achiever to perform well in every task that assigned to them, high achiever can also tutor some of the member of the class to develop their interpersonal skills.
Peer pressure is one thing that teenagers cannot be avoided. It is everywhere. Peer pressure is not always negative, peers may pressure one another into negative way but it can also push positive directions as well. These experienced may lead to maturity of individual that will motivate them to take the right path of life, as well as be motivated to learn more not only inside of the classroom. These challenges will help them to be a better student and achieve their goal in life. Peers can motivate one another to improve their learning ability and skills.
Lastly, teacher should always remember that every student has different learning styles and all teens are talented at one thing or another. Motivating teens to learn is not an impossible task. Teacher should incorporate the likes and the learning styles and start to build the bridge that connects them to their students. Teachers who showed enthusiasm can result to a positive learning. Students tend to build a strong relation towards teacher who is friendly and supportive. To sum up, everyone should never deny the importance of motivation in our life for one reason, it plays a big part in achieving our goals in life.
