In these modern times, rapid globalization—in particular, the development of Internet—has translated into providence of quality education in our schools. It has further boosted the skills of learners with the interactive learning it provides. On the part of the teachers, it has effected well in terms of undertaking a better mode of teaching which is worthwhile and student-centered. To cite an example, it has been utile specifically in the teacher-learner interaction, and that’s why it is much preferable to use in every significant part of any discussion, from introduction of the topic to assessment and/or application. Furthermore, we say that it has also benefited the students. Through surfing the internet, the learners tend to apply their possessed 21st-century skills as they explore a large storage of information regarding any concept they would want to delve upon. With this, they are able to manifest certain skills such as being realistic and investigative, therefore the reason why they may be considered as primary consumers in the information overload.

     But with the pros come its cons. This sort of communicating information has much influenced the fundamental socio-cultural behavior of the youth. Although it is necessarily helpful with respect to education, it has also brought about certain changes in the holistic behavior of students specifically. It boils down to a fact that with the evident advantages it presents, they should also be taught to be wise in choosing the right sort of information. At the very least, they can also go to the library which are actually encouraged.
