K-12 or Kindergarten plus 12 years is a revolutionary endeavor that the Department of Education
adapted. It paves the road to globalized learning by combining concept and application. K-12 promises
to teach students the basics in life and skills-based courses which enables them to land in jobs even if they have not undergone tertiary education.
K-12 standardizes learning by enabling students to experience global learning competencies to
help them adapt in a globally competitive world. K-12 promises three things: skills, awareness and
mastery. This gives the individual the opportunities to compete for their better future.
