The hungry heart of every child to be educated is one of the missions our government has to provide attention to. It is so evident that coping with the K-12 program is not that easy to handle since the implementation of this system is totally new to Philippine government. As the population gets bigger and bigger, the challenge becomes heavier as to how the classrooms would be enough or sufficient in correspondence to the increasing number of youth among other factors like unexpected expenses that the students will need.
In putting a big slice of the budget on education, there comes the inevitable consequences like the budget for other departments which are not felt by the people because of the poor quality of buildings and low salary being given to the teachers of the local government which are contributory factors to the poor quality of education prevalent in the country.
It is the question whether we are ready for the change in our educational system or we are again on a trial and error state in which we try but when we fail, the students will be affected.
