Measles is one common childhood infection commonly caused by virus. This is prevalent in the Philippines and the parents or guardians should be well-educated on eat. Proper education is the answer in order to prevent this alarming for it may become serious or even fatal.
To knockout this appalling infection which is predominant to the young ones most especially to babies, we should be well-acquainted on how to prevent it if possible to save lives, the innocent children that we have in our society. Again, proper education is required.
Also known as rubeola, may be manifested in having fever, dry cough, runny nose, sore throat, inflamed eyes (conjunctivitis), with tiny white spots with bluish-white centers on a red background found inside the mouth and skin rashes.
Measles reproduces inside the nose and in the throat of an infected child or adult can be avoided through essential measures which the parents should consider.
At first consult a doctor on vaccination against measles. It is a good practice that we go regularly to our respective doctors in order to know the things that we should do in preventing a certain problem concerning a physical condition. Vaccination on measles should be well-explained to us, even its side effects.
After having consulted a doctor on measles, it is better to be safely vaccinated in order to prevent measles. In the case of the babies, they can have the vaccination as early as six months and the parents should be well-educated of it.
Also, to be able to prevent measles, the family member should also practice proper hygiene. Regularly wash your hands in order to get rid of germs that may cause viruses. Encourage our children not to touch the parts of the body with dirty nails and fingers.
If possible do not share utensils with others and maintain the house as clean as possible. When sneezing, cover your mouth with tissue or tidy cloth in order to prevent any virus from spreading.
If one member of the family is experiencing any signs or symptoms of measles, immediately visit a doctor. It is a better practice to immediately attend to health hazards in order to avoid severe cases.
Preventing measles can be avoided if proper education is employed. Tigdas can be knocked out through proper medical measures!
